An Iris Blessing
May your blooms be floriferous and in good form,
Distinctive, with good substance, flare, and airborne,
With standards and falls that endure, never torn.
May you display many buds and blooms sublime,
In graceful proportion on strong stalks each day,
Gently floating above the fans and the fray.
May you too reach toward the moon and stars,
Bloom after bloom, many seasons in the sun,
Enjoying your life, health, and each loved one,
Until your 'living days are artfully done.

The image was also taken in the commercial area of Otaru、Hokkaido.
Not only wives but also most women have a weakness for both accessories and sweets. This is one of the typical shops that women are interested in shopping here. This shop is for mainly Venetian glassware and accessories. Furthermore, the shop serves coffee and sweets.
The white signboard on right-below appeals that "the Venetian glassware will spice up your life". Many necklaces are displayed on left side of the shop-front and those things induce visitors to buy.

The image above was taken in the Otaru city. The city is one of the major tourist spots in Hokkaido.
There was a signboard for married couples just outside of the shop. The signboard tells “the shop will take care of your husband”.
There are so many shops in this area for like accessories, glassware, sweets, souvenirs and so on. Therefore, all wives are most eager to do shopping without any concern about their husbands.
However, most of their husbands are not really interested in shopping, me too, so that the shop will take care of such boring husbands while wives are enjoying shopping.
That shop's owner had wealth of themes to talk and a wonderful hospitality to take care for such husbands. Fortunately, I enjoyed a lot of talking with shop-owner each other while my wife went for shopping.

The image was taken in a Buddhism temple when I took a stroll around my town. .
This is a stone statue of child priest.

What does this statue pray for?　
Each of us has a different answer.
Someone says that statue is praying for the world's peace.
Other one says that statue prays for the souls of dead children.
In short, the answer is in the mind of each of these people who see it.
What do you think about that he prays for what??

People stroke gently the head of this statue because of so pretty, therefore, his head has become so smooth.
