This weed is called Enokoro-gusa (狗尾草) or Neko-Jarashi(ネコジャラシ) in Japanese. Enokoro-gusa means dog's tail grass and Neko-Jarashi means cat teaser grass. If you try to shake this grass right before cat's eyes, you can see a playful cat like this. It's a most suitable grass for shape up exercise to your cat. Photo was taken by Olympus E-P3 with M.
