pure-white beauty

pure-white beauty, originally uploaded by photoholic image.
Reaching for the Mid day Sun
Beginning of Spring time has begun
With buds so white ,petals open to the sky
Like Angels Feathers which fly up high
Don't pick this beauty from the limb of the tree
Keep its memory
untouched and free~~~

under the Sakura blossom : HANAMI

The Hanami, means cherry-blossom viewing or enjoying the cherry blossom, is one of the Japanese traditional cultures. It is said that the Hanami was started in 8th century, but it was plum blossom viewing at the beginning. The first cherry blossom viewing party was held by Emperor Saga in 9th century. At the beginning, the Hanami was only for the nobility, but custom of Hanami became popular among common people from 17th century. Most Japanese enjoy to have lunch, drinking, chatting and sometime dancing and singing as well under cherry blossom.
More information about Hanami, you can refer to here.
This is the last image for the series, thank you for viewing. Have a wonderful week.

The Violet

Down in a green and shady bed,
A modest violet grew;
Its stalk was bent, it hung its head
As if to hide from view.
And yet it was a lovely flower,
Its colour bright and fair;
It might have graced a rosy bower,
Instead of hiding there.

Yet thus it was content to bloom,
In modest tints arrayed;
And there diffused a sweet perfume,
Within the silent shade.

Then let me to the valley go
This pretty flower to see;
That I may also learn to grow
In sweet humility.

Ganesha, originally uploaded by photoholic image.
Ganesha is one of the deities of Hinduism. The statue of Ganesha can be seen widely in India and Nepal, but, this was taken in the Old Asian Market in Nasu Highland, Japan.
There are several variety stores in the Old Asian Market. We can buy miscellaneous goods or sundries imported from India, Indonesia, Nepal and Vietnam. Therefore, we feel we visit those countries.
