Autumn colour in the Nandor Wagner Art Gellery

I could spend a great day at the Wagner Nandor Art Gallery located in Mashiko town, Tochigi-pref., Japan. Because, I could have a chance to talk with Nandor's wife and I could appreciate many pieces of Nandor's work. Nandore Wagner was born in 1922 in Hungary. He had become world's famous sculptor by his stainless steel sculpture made in Sweden while as a refugee from Hungary. After he got married a Japanese woman, he moved from Sweden to Japan with his wife. Finally, he found the permanent home in Japan. As for more detail about him, I recommend you to refer Nándor Wagner.

Wish you all a wonderful day!

According to the WIKIPEDIA, the flowering plant shown in above has few English names like Autumn Crocus, Meadow Saffron or Naked Lady.
The above photo was taken in my yard yesterday. But, it was a little out of focus because i used maximum aperture to make smooth bokeh on backdrop. Thus i failed to capture fine and clear texture on petals. That's why I tried to take same photo again this morning.

Apples, starting to take on red color

Despite strong wind and heavy rain of tropical storm hit the island last week, most apples are still remaining and just started to take on red color. The harvest is scheduled to be carried out by children either end of Oct. or beginning of Nov. Most children are looking forward to the harvest festival, but, some of parents worry about radioactive contamination on apples. Because the place here is located only 150km away from the melt downed nuclear power plant in Fukushima.

Little fairy of the forest, The image is dedicated to Brittany Graviet

Little Fairy,
Shine so bright.
Little Fairy,
Show your light.

Little Fairy,
I’m amazed.
Little Fairy,
You seem to blaze.

Little Fairy,
I love your allure.
Little fairy,
You are so pure.

Little fairy,
In case you flee,
Little fairy,
First shine on me.

from Poems By Poet Brittany Graviet.

The flower is called Renge-Shouma in Japanese, but not sure how to say in English. According to the WIKIPEDIA, it is called Anemonopsis in scientific or technical term.
However, it doesn't matter what name of flower is. Some lovely flowers bloomed and scattered among trees.
It seems like fairies in the forest.
