Japanese clover; one of the seven autumn flowers

Temperature was over 90°F again today, as always, the same as a tropical climate condition here in the Kanto region.
However, plants show us that surely autumn has come.
The image above shows the typical flower of autumn that is called Japanese clover or bush clover.
The Japanese clover (萩) is one of the seven autumn flowers that are Kudzu(葛), large pink or sweet William (撫子), varelian(女郎花), bonesets or thoroughworts (藤袴) and Chinese Bell Flower, Japanese Bell Flower or Common Balloon Flower (桔梗).
These flowers are defined as typical autumn flowers in a verse from the Man'yōshū (万葉集) anthology.
