This is a scene at the pottery fair held in the town of Mashiko from April 29th to May 6th.
A blackboard appeals to visitors that "When do you buy?" "It should be now!!".

The Sister city agreement was signed with. St. Ives, Cornwall in the UK and Mashiko last year. The connection of St. Ives and Mashiko started from 1920 as the towns of pottery.
Because, Bearnard Leach and Shoji Hamada from Mashiko set up the Leach Pottery in St. Ives, Cornwall in 1920.
