the colours of autumn, part 1

the colours of autumn, part 1

This place is in the mountains of Shimogo-machi of Fukushima Prefecture where is about 100 miles away from my town.
This lake is called Kannon-numa. It is a popular place among photographers in the time of autumnal leaves and fresh green.

the luxuriance of an aquatic plant, Pickerel weed

After typhoon has gone away, it is really hot and humid today from this morning. It is now 87  degree Fahrenheit and 73% of humidity at 10:30 a.m. in the area where I live.
According to the latest weather forecast, today's maximum temperature will rise up to 93 degree Fahrenheit, this is the first time record in this summer.
Therefore, I'd like to share an image which seems to be cool.
Be careful about heat stroke!

The heavenly place where the primroses bloomed gregariously.

The photo has been originally uploaded by Yuichi Momma's photostream in flickr.

I visited such a heavenly place on one day of a break in the rainy season. The place is at an altitude of about 1,300 meters, and the site is located at the Lake Chuzenji side in the Oku-Nikko.  The place cannot be accessed by own cars. Because, the area is limited to vehicles in order to prevent natural destructions. We have to park own cars in a parking lot where is about 10 miles away from that area, and we have to take the hybrid bus of the lower pollution performs shuttle service.

in a severe cold, originally uploaded by photoholic image.
It was intense cold these past few days, and the pond in the park was frozen this morning.
Wild Ducks seem to be frozen, too.
